Our office is located at M-3 in the Goregaon East area. We are inside the Sababa Shopping Center, which is right opposite Jaipan Industrial. The center itself is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We spend most of our time dealing with packages and clipboards. There is always a stack of boxes near the door waiting to be loaded onto the vans. The smell of brown tape and cardboard is pretty much everywhere. We have a couple of desks that are piled high with waybills and registers. It isn't the quietest place because of the industrial area across the street. You can hear trucks backing up and the constant sound of horns. We have a small bench for people to sit on while we weigh their parcels. The floor is just plain tiles that show every bit of dirt, so we sweep it often. Our team usually eats lunch at the desks because there isn't much extra room. The lighting is a bit dim in the back where we store the bigger crates. We know the other shopkeepers in the center, and we usually swap stories about the morning traffic. It’s a straightforward job of sorting and labeling. We keep the fans on high because it gets stuffy with all the inventory. It is just a normal daily grind in a busy part of Goregaon.
