You can find Anuj Decorators over in Mulji Nagar on the 11th Main. We are right by the 5th Cross in Indira Nagar 1st Stage. It’s a busy neighborhood and there is always something going on outside our door. We’ve got a lot of fabric and decorations piled up in the back. It’s not very organized but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time out at different sites setting things up. The shop is often empty during the day because we are out working. We aren't the kind of decorators you see in magazines with perfect portfolios. We just use what we have to make a space look better for a party or a small event. Sometimes the ladders are old and the curtains have a few wrinkles but we get it done. We’ve been in this part of Indira Nagar for a good while. People around here know us and just stop by to ask if we’re free for a weekend. We don't do much advertising. We just rely on people seeing our work and asking for our number. It’s a family-run thing mostly and we all pitch in when there is a big job. It’s hard work moving all those heavy poles and drapes. We just keep at it because it’s what we know how to do. Some days are better than others, but we enjoy being part of the community here.
