ANUGA TEXTILES PRIVATE LIMITED

Anuga Textiles Private Limited is based in the Unique Industrial Estate in Prabhadevi. We are in unit 206. If you know the area, it’s just off Veer Savarkar Marg. This building has been here for a long time, and you can tell by the walls and the old-fashioned elevators. It’s a busy place with lots of different small businesses all packed together. We are quite close to the sea, so you get that salty air, but mostly you just smell the exhaust from the traffic outside. Our space is usually a bit of a mess with fabric rolls and folders everywhere. We don’t have a decorator; we just put desks where they fit. We spend our time coordinating with different suppliers and making sure our textile orders are moving. Some days are slower than others, but usually, there’s plenty to do. We eat our lunch together at a big table in the back. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits. We just wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of work. Prabhadevi is a central spot, which is good for us, even if finding parking is almost impossible. We just do our thing, keep our heads down, and try to stay on top of the business. It’s a bit noisy and old, but it works for us. The daily commute is the hardest part of being here.
