Antara The Heart Of Chocolates is located over in Chembur West at B 1104. It’s mostly just a workspace where we deal with a lot of cocoa and sugar every day. The air always smells a bit sweet, which I guess is better than most jobs. We spend a lot of time hovering over the counters, checking batches and packing things into boxes. It’s not a huge operation. Most of the time it’s just us trying to keep everything organized so we don't trip over crates. Working in Chembur West has its ups and downs with the traffic and the humidity, but we’ve been at B 1104 long enough that we know the neighbors. We don't really do the whole fancy boutique thing. It’s more of a practical space where we get the work done. Sometimes the orders pile up and the kitchen feels a bit cramped, but we manage to get through it. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just make the chocolates and try to get them out on time. The floors get dusty and the uniforms always have some kind of smudge on them by noon. That’s just life in a kitchen. We open early and stay until the last batch is finished. It’s quiet work for the most part, except for the sound of the mixers running.
