Annapurna Sweets

We are located right out by the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway in the Mulund East area. Our specific location falls under the 41309 area code. It is a bit of a trek for some people to get here, but being near the highway means we get to see a lot of travelers passing through. We mostly spend our time making traditional sweets. The kitchen area is almost always smelling strongly of ghee and toasted sugar. It is a messy job, to be honest with you. Your hands are always feeling a bit sticky by the end of a long shift. We do not have a big corporate office or any fancy marketing people. It is just the main shop floor and the back room where we keep the large metal vats for boiling. We use a lot of fresh milk every day, so we are always busy checking the quality when the big cans arrive in the early morning. Some days the khoya just does not set the way it should and we have to start the whole batch over again. It is frustrating when that happens, but that is just how cooking works. We do not bother putting out a lot of flyers or ads. Most people just happen to see our sign while they are driving past on the highway and they decide to pull over for a minute. We get a mix of regulars from the local neighborhood and people who are just passing through on their journey. It keeps us pretty occupied.
