Ankita Air Services

Masjid Bunder West is one of those places that never really stops. Our office is in Vardhaman Chambers, specifically at 127-C. It’s a bit of a maze in these buildings sometimes. You walk through the narrow lanes, dodge a few handcarts, and finally get into the stairwell. Ankita Air Services operates from this small space. It’s mostly just desks, phones, and a lot of files. The area outside is always full of people carrying goods and trucks trying to navigate the tight turns. It gets very loud, especially in the afternoons. We’ve been in Vardhaman Chambers for a long time. The office doesn’t have a big sign or anything flashy. We just do our daily tasks and handle the phone calls as they come. It’s a busy environment, but we like the energy of the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, or the lift is being repaired, so we just take the stairs. It’s just the way things go in this part of the city. We don’t have a fancy lobby for people to sit in. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. We know the chai wallah nearby very well, and that’s usually where we get our break. It’s a straightforward business in a very hectic location. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished before heading home. It is a long day usually but we are used to the pace.
