Angel Creation

We are tucked away in Shop No. 4 inside the Pirbhai Compound on Kedarmal Road. Malad East is a crowded place, and our little corner in the compound is no different. It’s a bit of a trek to find us if you don’t know the way, but we’ve been here long enough that most locals can point you in the right direction. The shop is small and mostly filled with our work tables and stools. We don't have any plush chairs or fancy decor. It’s a place for working, not for lounging. There are usually three or four of us here, and we keep the radio on low while we cut and stitch. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the tin roof, so we drink a lot of water and take short breaks. We don't have a big corporate story. We just started making things because we needed the work and it grew from there. Sometimes a customer will come in with a very specific idea, and we spend hours trying to get it just right. We don't always get it perfect on the first try, but we keep at it until it's done. It’s a bit messy with threads and fabric scraps all over the floor, but that's just how a real workshop looks. We are just regular people making a living in Malad and trying to get our orders finished before the sun goes down.
