Amba Fabrics Llp is based over in Lower Parel. We are situated in Kewal Industrial Estate, which is on Senapati Bapat Marg. Our unit is 40A and we are on the ground floor. Lower Parel is a very different place now than it used to be with all the big malls and towers, but the industrial estates like ours are still holding on. Being on the ground floor of Kewal is a huge advantage for us. We move a lot of fabric, so not having to deal with an elevator is great. The 400013 area is very central. We get a lot of traffic on Senapati Bapat Marg, so it takes a bit of time to get here during peak hours. Our space is functional and mostly filled with rolls of cloth. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a workspace where we get things done. There’s a small team of us here. We’ve been in this spot for a while and we like the grit of the old industrial estate. It feels like real work happens here. We handle orders for various types of fabrics throughout the day. Sometimes the rain in Mumbai makes things a bit difficult around the estate, but we manage. We just keep things simple. We don't spend money on big signs or marketing. People find us through word of mouth or because they know Kewal Industrial Estate.
