Amazer Events

Running things out of Kemps Corner at E-12 keeps us pretty busy most days. This part of town is always moving, and our office is right in the middle of it. We handle all sorts of events, which basically means our phones never stop ringing. It is a small team here, just a few of us trying to keep everything organized. The desk is usually covered in notebooks and half-finished cups of tea. Planning stuff for people is mostly about logistics and making sure people actually show up where they are supposed to. We don't really have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we sit and make calls. Sometimes we are out on-site for days, then we come back here to catch up on all the emails we missed. Kemps Corner can be a nightmare for parking, so we usually just walk to get lunch nearby. We have been in this spot for a bit now, and the neighbors know us. It gets a bit chaotic when a big date is coming up, but that is just how the event business works. You won't find any corporate speeches here, just people trying to make sure a party or a meeting goes off without a hitch. It is hard work and long hours, but we are used to the pace by now. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay organized.
