Alistair Dsouza

My name is Alistair Dsouza and I work from the Juhu Lal Gehi Ashram. It is a bit of an unusual spot for an office, I suppose. Most people think of ashrams as just places for prayers or staying, but I have my setup here and it works for me. It is much quieter than the rest of Juhu, which is usually full of tourists and people going to the beach. I have a small desk and my laptop and a few notebooks where I scribble down things I need to remember. The air is a bit cooler here because of the trees around the compound. I usually get in early before it gets too hot. I don’t have any fancy signs outside or a big reception desk. It is just a simple room where I can focus on my tasks without too many distractions. Sometimes the stray dogs outside bark a bit too much, or you hear the sounds of the neighborhood waking up, but mostly it is peaceful. I’ve been staying and working around this part of Juhu for a while now and I don't think I would want to be anywhere else. It is not a corporate setup at all, just a man and his work in a quiet corner. I spend a lot of time reading through papers and making sure everything is in order. There isn't much more to say about it, it is just how I live.
