We are over at Haideri Manzil in Masjid Bunder West, specifically in the Motor Market area. It's a busy spot, Flat No 65, and there is always something going on with the trucks and parts moving around. Ali Mandap Decorator Contractor has been based here for quite some time now. We spend our days mostly handling tents, chairs, and all the stuff needed for a proper mandap setup. It’s not just about the fabrics and the poles, though that’s the bulk of the work. We spend a lot of time on the road, going from one part of the city to another. The office is where we keep our logs and take down notes for the next job. It can get pretty cramped with all the samples and paperwork lying around. We don’t really do the whole polished business thing. We are more about getting the job finished on time so the family can have their ceremony without any hiccups. Working in the Motor Market means it’s noisy and dusty, but it’s home for us. We know all the neighbors and the tea stall guys nearby. Sometimes we’re working late into the night preparing for a morning wedding, and that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just provide the setup as promised. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything organized when we have back-to-back jobs, but we do our best to keep up. It's tough but it's good.
