Akshat Advertising

Our small office is at C/28 in the Wakani Building, which is a well-known spot near Parel. We are located right opposite the Shirodkar Market, so there is never a dull moment or a quiet hour during the day. You can always hear the shouting from the market and the sound of trucks unloading goods nearby. Akshat Advertising is mostly about getting things printed and designed for people who need to get their own businesses noticed. We have a few computers and some samples of past work lying around on the shelves. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have a lot of material piled up waiting to be picked up. Parel has changed a lot over the years, but this corner still feels like the old Mumbai in many ways. We spend most of our time talking to clients about their ideas and trying to make them work on paper. It is a lot of sitting and clicking, then a lot of rushing to meet a deadline. Sometimes the printers act up or we run out of a specific color of ink, and that’s when things get a little stressful. But generally, it is just about showing up and getting the jobs done. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room; you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way of working.
