Ajit Sweets & Farsan

If you go into the Sagar Industrial Estate in Dahisar you will find us at unit 101. Ajit Sweets & Farsan is usually a busy place especially early in the morning when we are getting everything ready for the day. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of noise and trucks moving around outside our door. We don't have a big fancy storefront with glass displays like the shops on the main road. Instead we focus on making the snacks and sweets that people around here seem to like. The smell of frying farsan usually fills up the space by eight in the morning. It is hot work standing near the large vats but we are used to it by now. We have a small team of guys who have been with us for a long time and they know exactly how the batter should feel or how long the sweets need to set. Sometimes we run out of things faster than we thought and we have to scramble to make more. It is not always perfectly organized but we make it work. Customers come in and out all day long grabbing a bag of something salty or a box of sweets for their office staff. We just keep our heads down and keep the stoves going because that is what we do best. The work is hard but it keeps us going every single day.
