Ajay Paralkar

I am Ajay Paralkar and you can find me at 4/5 Gopchar on M B Parulekar Roa in Prabhadevi. My place is right next to the Pass Port Office, so the street is always crowded with people waiting in lines or walking back and forth. It is a very lively and sometimes chaotic part of the city to work in. Gopchar is an older building that has a lot of small offices and shops inside it. My space is compact and filled with my books and papers. I have been here for a long time and I know all the local tea sellers and shopkeepers on M B Parulekar Roa. I do not have a secretary or anyone else working with me. I handle every phone call and every visitor myself. My desk is usually covered in work, and I have a small lamp that I use when it gets dark. The proximity to the Pass Port Office means there is a lot of energy right outside my window. I usually keep my head down and stay busy with my own tasks. It is not a modern or stylish office, but it has everything I need to get through my day. I like being in Prabhadevi because it feels connected to the rest of the city. I open up my doors in the morning and stay until the work is finished, which is how I have always done things.
