Ajay Dixit Films

I have been working out of Flat No 7 for quite a bit now. It is in the Shyam Kun building on Plot 705. If you know Khar West, we are right near the Jiwan Nagar area. Most people use the Khar Telephone Exchange as a landmark to find us because the smaller lanes can get confusing if you are new here. This isn't one of those massive movie studios you see in the news. It is just a practical space where Ajay Dixit Films handles the day-to-day work. We spend a lot of time here looking at footage and getting things ready for production. The office is basically a flat that we turned into a workspace. It’s got a lived-in feel because we are always here. Sometimes the neighbors come by to say hello. It's a decent spot because it's tucked away from the main road noise. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and we're usually at the computers or on the phone. We’ve done all sorts of film projects from this little base. It works for us because everything we need is right here in this corner of Khar. It’s a bit cramped when we have a full crew meeting, but we make it work with extra chairs. We just like making films and this is where it happens every day. Sometimes the tea runs out, but the work keeps going.
