Ajaata Pharma Ltd

Ajaata Pharma Ltd is located in Kandivali West, right near Hindustan Naka. It’s a lively part of Mumbai to be in. There’s always something happening right outside our door. The street is lined with all sorts of small businesses and vendors. We’ve been at this spot for quite a long time. The office is on the smaller side, so we have to be very careful about how we stack things. It can get a bit messy during the middle of the week when a lot of shipments arrive at once. We’re just a small group of people working here. We’ve known each other for years, so we don't really need a lot of formal rules. We just know what needs to be done. The humidity in Kandivali is something we deal with every day, especially during the monsoon. We have a few old fans that keep the air moving, but it’s still pretty warm. Most of our customers are from the surrounding neighborhoods. We see people walking by on their way to the market or the station. We don’t spend money on marketing. We just rely on being here and being consistent. It’s a simple life. We close up in the evening and head home like everyone else. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do and we’re used to the rhythm of it. We take a break for tea around four every afternoon.
