Our office is located at Compound Number 342/348 on Charni Road. We are part of the VSSN Society right near the Opera House. It’s a famous old part of the city, and the Imperial Theatre is just behind us, which makes it easy for people to find the compound. The space we work in is mostly filled with envelopes and parcels of all sizes. It’s a lot of sorting and labeling, day in and day out. The sounds of the street outside are constant—horns, people shouting, and the general buzz of Charni Road. We have a small desk near the entrance where we take in the packages. It’s a bit cramped, especially when the big deliveries arrive all at once. The walls have old maps pinned up and there are stacks of rubber bands and pens everywhere. We spend a lot of time checking addresses and making sure the zip codes are right. It’s not a fancy office with leather chairs or anything like that. We just have basic stools and wooden tables that have seen better days. The VSSN Society is a quiet enough place once you get inside the gates, but our office is usually a hive of activity. We’ve been doing this for years, and most of the local delivery boys know us by name. We just make sure the mail gets where it needs to go without too much fuss or any major delays.
