Agrawal Sweets

We are situated in the Trade Centre at Andheri East. Our shop is numbers 1 and 2 in the 1st K Block. It is right on Dr Rajkumar Road, which is a very busy stretch of pavement. The shop is mostly just display counters and a small area in the back where things are kept. We get a lot of people coming in from the nearby offices during their lunch breaks. It gets very crowded for about two hours every afternoon. We spend a lot of time just refilling the trays and making sure everything looks okay. The Trade Centre is a big building and it feels like a maze sometimes. We have to deal with the noise of the traffic and the sirens from the road all day long. It is not a place where you can find much peace. We start early in the morning to make sure the counters are full before the first office workers arrive. The floor is made of grey stone and we have to mop it constantly because of all the footprints. We don't use any big marketing tricks. We just put the items out and people buy what they want. It is a very routine type of business. We’ve been here for years and we see the same commuters every single day.
