Affrin General Store

Shop number 4 in Marina Masjid Gali is where you will find us. It is Vikhroli West, near 4 Bungalows. This store has everything stuffed into a small space. We sell the basic things people need every day. Milk, bread, soap, maybe some snacks for the kids after school. It is a local general store, nothing fancy about it. We open early so people can get stuff before work. The Gali gets crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home. I have been behind this counter for a long time now. You see the same faces every day. We know who likes which brand of tea and who always forgets their bag. Sometimes the stock delivery is late and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It happens. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in. The shelves are a bit crowded and sometimes it is hard to find what you want, but I usually know where everything is. We have a small fan that keeps us cool in the summer, but it still gets hot in here. It is a simple life. We keep the books, talk to the neighbors, and make sure the fridge is running. If you live around here, you have probably walked past us a hundred times. We are just part of the street. It is a lot of work to keep things organized, but we do our best every single day.
