Adarsh Dughalaya Sweet Farsan

Adarsh Dughalaya Sweet Farsan is a local spot in Goregaon East. We are located at Radheshyam Bhavan on Arey Road, which is right along the Mumbai Pune Road. It’s a busy intersection and there is always a lot of dust and noise from the cars passing by. We start our work very early in the morning because the milk and fresh snacks need to be ready before the first customers arrive. Many people stop by on their way to work to grab a quick snack or some sweets for their families. The shop can get quite crowded during the festival seasons when everyone wants the same things at once. We have a few big pans in the back where the sweets are made, and the smell of ghee and sugar usually fills the air. Our counter is usually stacked with different kinds of farsan and containers of sweets. It’s a humble place with no air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that we keep running all day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the orders to worry about that. We have some regular customers who have been coming to us since we opened. We just try to make enough for the day and close up once the trays are empty. It’s a simple life running a food shop in such a busy part of the city.
