We spend most of our time here at Jodia Mansion on G.K. Marg in Lower Parel. It is a busy part of Mumbai and there is always noise from the street below, but we have gotten used to it over the years. Our office is 10/216 and it is usually filled with rolls of paper and people talking about site measurements. We have been in this area for a while now. Most days start early because traffic in Lower Parel can be a real mess if you do not get in before the rush. We mostly just focus on getting the drawings right and making sure the contractors know what they are supposed to be doing. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall nearby while we look over floor plans. It is not a very fancy place, just a working office where we try to keep things organized. There are always files stacked up and someone is usually on the phone trying to track down a delivery. We deal with a lot of different people coming through the door every day. It gets quite humid in the afternoons but we just keep the fans going and stay busy with the work at hand. Being right here in Mumbai means things move fast, so we try to keep up with everything. It is just how we run things here at Abm Architects Pvt.Ltd. We do not really do much else besides the design work and site visits.
