Aaura Designs

We are located in Andheri West, right behind the D N Nagar police station. It’s a handy landmark since the road names can get confusing around the Godhavari Pravrahh Link Road. Aaura Designs is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a bit of a workshop vibe here, with scraps of materials and drawings scattered around the place. We didn't set out to be some big design firm. We just liked making things and figured we could make a go of it as a business. The space isn't huge, but it fits what we need. We usually have the door open to let a breeze in, though the street noise can get a bit much. Most of our time is spent looking at sketches or trying to figure out if a certain layout actually works in real life. We don’t wear suits or have big meetings. It’s mostly just us sitting around a table with some coffee, trying to get the work done. People often get lost looking for us the first time because of the police station being so close, but once you find the turn, it’s easy. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just putting in the hours and hoping the finished product looks alright. It’s a decent way to spend the day. Sometimes we stay late when we're on a roll, but we try to keep a normal schedule. It’s just how we live and work here.
