Aashka International

You can find us at Gala No.37 in the Kembros Industrial Estate. It's tucked away on Sonapur Lane, just off L.B.S. Marg in Bhandup (W). Finding the place can be a bit tricky the first time because the lane is narrow and there are always trucks parked along the side blocking the view. Aashka International is a small setup. We mostly deal with trading and some basic assembly work. The gala isn't huge, so we have to be very organized with how we stack the cardboard boxes so we can still move around. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking emails to coordinate with our suppliers. It’s a lot of paperwork and tracking shipments across the city. Sometimes the shipments get delayed at the port, and we have to explain that to the people waiting for their goods. It’s stressful, but we do our best to stay on top of things. We have a small table in the corner where we take our lunch breaks together. It’s a simple life. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our business comes from people we've known for a long time. They know we are here and that we'll get the job done without too much fuss or extra cost. The lights in the estate are a bit dim in the evenings, but we usually wrap up and lock the shutters before it gets too dark. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to keep things running.
