We are based at number 7 in Deonar, down Chandravarkar Lane. We’re part of the Runwal Center, which is quite a large complex. If you’re coming this way, we’re fairly close to Lakme Cosmetics, which is the big landmark everyone uses to find the lane. Our space is mostly a warehouse for pharmaceutical goods, so it’s full of cardboard boxes stacked on pallets. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush carpets or fancy art on the walls. It’s a working building with concrete floors and metal racks. We spend our mornings checking the stock levels and making sure the temperature in the storage area is where it needs to be. Deonar can be a bit dusty and the traffic on the main road is often backed up with trucks, but Chandravarkar Lane is usually a bit better. We have a small office section at the front where the phones are always ringing and the printer is usually jammed. It’s a lot of logistical work, making sure the right boxes get onto the right vans. The team is small, and we’ve all been working together for a few years now, so we know the routine. We eat our lunch together in the small break area and then get back to shifting boxes. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We focus on the inventory and getting the orders processed before the couriers arrive.
