A B M International

Our office for A B M International is located in Andheri East. We are on the first floor, right above the Toofa Hotel. It’s a very busy area, especially with all the people coming and going from the hotel and the nearby offices. To get to us, you just walk up the stairs next to the hotel entrance. The office is a bit of a mix of old desks and new computers. Since we are in Andheri, the traffic outside is pretty much constant, so there’s always a background noise of cars and rickshaws. We handle international stuff, which mostly means a lot of phone calls at odd hours and plenty of emails. There are files stacked up in the corners because we have to keep records of everything. It’s not a very big space, but we make it work. We usually have the windows closed to keep the dust and noise out. Being above a hotel is handy because everyone knows the landmark. We spend our days looking at shipping documents and talking to people in different time zones. It’s a lot of sitting and typing. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a map. It’s a straightforward place where we come to get our work done and then go home. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now and it suits us just fine. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily tasks.
