Arrow Pipes & Plates Industries

Arrow Pipes & Plates Industries is up on the first floor of Mardia Bhavan. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it. The stairs are narrow and a bit steep. We deal with heavy metal plates and long pipes all day. Moving them around is a bit of a workout. The office isn't very fancy at all. We have desks piled with papers and some samples of different pipe grades lying on the floor. It’s an industrial vibe. People call us to check stock levels. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the ledger. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It's more of a functional space where work happens. The lights flicker a bit sometimes in the afternoon. We’ve got a small window that looks out but mostly we just see the wall of the next building. It's quiet enough to get things done but busy enough that you don't get bored. Some of the regulars have been coming to see us for years. They know the way up. We handle a lot of orders for different sizes. Measuring everything exactly is the main thing we worry about. It gets dusty because of the metal pieces but that's just part of the job. We keep a fan going mostly to keep the air moving. It's just a regular workplace doing what we know how to do every day. We don't have any big corporate rules here. We just work.
