45 Rpm Productions is based out of Hema House, care of Hospitality Appliances. We are on Chandawarkar Road, right across from the Dattani Trade Centre in Borivili West. It is a very busy part of the suburb. You can hear the traffic from our windows most of the day. The building itself has been there for a long time. Our space is filled with equipment and cables because of the production work we do. It’s not the cleanest or the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time looking at screens or checking gear before it goes out. There’s no big fancy entrance here, you just walk in and see us working. We are a team that prefers doing things rather than talking about doing them. The guys across the street at the trade centre probably see us coming and going at odd hours. Production life isn't a nine-to-five thing, so we are often here late into the night. We keep a stash of biscuits and instant coffee in the corner for those long shifts. It’s a bit of a grind, but we like the results. We don't have a lot of time for corporate meetings or long emails. We just get the job done and move on to the next one.
