Smt Ruxamanibenm Dipchandbhai Gardi Madhyamik Shala

Out in Muli, Surendranagar, you will find our school. It has a very long name, Smt Ruxamanibenm Dipchandbhai Gardi Madhyamik Shala, but the local people just call it the secondary school. We serve the 363510 area. Since this is a rural setting, things are done in a very straightforward way. We have a modest building that has enough classrooms for our students. Most of the kids come from nearby houses or the surrounding farms. Life here is very much tied to the seasons and the weather. During the harvest time, we sometimes see fewer students in the seats, but that is just how life works in a place like Muli. We do not have any fancy technology or modern labs. We make do with what we have. Most of the learning happens with the teachers and students sitting together and going through the textbooks chapter by chapter. The office is quite small and there is usually a stack of paperwork on the desk waiting to be signed. We do not have any grand philosophy or corporate goals. Our main focus is just to make sure the kids learn their lessons properly. The playground is an open field where they play cricket or just run around during the break. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the most difficult subjects done early in the morning. We are just a part of this community, trying to keep things moving.
