We are located in Chotila, right in the Surendranagar district of Gujarat. You’ll find Sheth Shri N N Shah Madhyamik Shala in a spot that’s easy to get to for most people living around here. Chotila is famous for the temple on the hill, so the town is always full of people, but we are a bit removed from all that pilgrim rush. Our school is a secondary school, so we deal with the older kids who are getting ready for their final years of study. The building is pretty simple, nothing too modern or flashy. It has that classic school look with long corridors and rows of identical classrooms. Surendranagar is known for being quite warm, so we have a lot of fans going all day long. It’s a noisy place when the kids are moving between classes, but that’s to be expected. We don’t have a lot of high-tech gadgets. We use chalkboards and textbooks, and that seems to work just fine for us. Most of the families here are working-class, so we try to keep things grounded and practical. There’s no corporate feel here at all. It’s just a place where the local kids come to get their education and prepare for whatever comes next in their lives. We just keep our heads down and focus on the teaching part of things. It is just a normal, everyday school for the community here in Chotila.
