People in Dhrangadhra know where we are located. Kumari Sonali H Gardi Vidhyalaya is a local spot for education in the neighborhood. It is not a very big or loud place most of the time. We just open the doors early in the morning and wait for the students to arrive. The school is situated in Surendra Nagar. Most of us working here grew up around this part of the country. We know the streets and the families well. Inside the building, things are pretty straightforward for the most part. We have desks, chairs, and old blackboards. Some days the weather is quite hot, so we keep all the windows open to catch a breeze. You can hear the sounds of the town coming in from the street. It’s a busy place during the week. We have teachers who have been here for many years. They know most of the kids' names and often remember who their older brothers or sisters were. It’s that kind of community school. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or catchy slogans for the walls. We just want the students to sit down and focus on reading their books. Sometimes the school bell is a bit too loud, but it keeps everyone on time. The parents drop their kids off on scooters or the children just walk. It’s a very local feel here. We’re part of the 363310 community. Life moves along at its own pace. We handle the paperwork and the lessons as they come.
