Shyam Border Tiles

Shyam Border Tiles is right on the 8-A N.H. highway. It is quite easy to find if you are looking for Dariyalal Plaza because we are right near there, just behind Argil Ceramic. Being on the national highway means there is always a lot of noise from the trucks passing by at all hours. We focus mostly on border tiles, which is a bit specific, but it keeps us busy enough. The yard is usually full of crates. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, so we are always wiping things down so people can actually see the colors on the tiles. It is a practical setup we have here. We don't have a big fancy office, just a desk and some chairs where we handle the paperwork. Most of the work is done outside or in the storage area moving the heavy boxes around. We have seen a lot of changes on this stretch of the road over the years, with new buildings popping up everywhere. Even so, we just keep doing our thing behind Argil Ceramic. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they were driving past and saw the sign. It’s a lot of manual labor, but seeing a finished border piece look good makes the effort feel alright. We usually close up early on Sundays to get some rest from the highway noise.
