Sunface Ceramic

Our place is located right behind Nice Ceramic. It’s a bit tucked away, so some people miss the turn if they aren't looking closely. We spend most of our time around the stacks of ceramic pieces. The area is usually a bit dusty because of all the trucks moving nearby, but that’s just how it is around here. We have a small office area where we sit when there aren't customers to deal with. The chairs are old but they work fine. We don’t have any big signs or anything too bright. Most people who come here already know the way because they’ve been coming for years. We usually start the day around nine. The first thing we do is sweep the front because the wind blows a lot of sand in from the road. We have a small kettle for making tea in the afternoon. Sometimes we sit outside on the plastic stools if the weather is okay. It’s not a big operation, just a few of us making sure everything is where it should be. We don't really have a lobby or a waiting room, just the main space with all the stock. If someone calls, we usually answer on the second or third ring because the phone is on the far desk. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the big deliveries arrive and we have to move things around. The clock on the wall is five minutes fast, but we never bothered to fix it. We just keep an eye on the sun to know when to head home.
