If you know the Morbi-jetpar Road, then you know how busy it gets with all the heavy trucks and containers. We are located at Rangpar, right behind the Satyam Weighbridge. It’s a landmark everyone knows because of the long lines of vehicles waiting to get weighed. Being back there means we don’t get all the road noise, but we still see the dust. The office is simple. We have a couple of wooden desks and a calendar on the wall that’s a few months out of date. We handle the ceramic stuff daily. It’s heavy work sometimes. We usually have a radio playing in the background, mostly just local stations. The heat in Rangpar can be quite something during the summer months, so we keep the windows open to catch any breeze. We’ve been in this spot for a while. The floor is made of the very tiles we used to sell years ago, and they’ve held up okay despite all the boots walking over them. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. It’s just us and the inventory. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers or checking the ledgers. We usually close up when the sun starts to set because the road gets a bit tricky in the dark. It’s an honest way to spend the day, just staying busy and keeping things moving. We usually keep a box of biscuits in the drawer for when guests drop by.
