Sony Ceramics (satyam)

Sony Ceramics, or what some people locally call Satyam, is based in Village Dhuva. If you take the 8-a National Highway and turn onto Matel Road, you will find us easily enough. We have been operating from this same spot for a good while. The yard is usually full of raw materials and finished pallets waiting for the transport trucks. It gets noisy with the machinery running all day, but we are used to it by now. My cousins and I manage the daily operations, from checking the kiln temperatures to making sure the loading happens on time. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just us and the local guys who work the shifts. The weather here in Dhuva can be tough, especially when it rains and the road gets muddy, but we manage to keep things moving. We mostly focus on basic ceramic items that people need for their homes or building projects. We don't spend money on glossy brochures. If someone needs to see what we have, they just come by the gate and we show them around the warehouse. Most days start early, around six, and we don't finish until the last truck is gone. It's a simple way of working, but it has served us well so far. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day without making a big fuss about it.
