If you take the Kandla Road out toward Mahendranagar in Morbi, you’ll find us at 8 A N H. That’s where Rasai Tiles Pvt. Ltd. operates from. It’s a dusty part of the world, mostly because of all the tile making going on around here. Our place is pretty much like any other factory or warehouse in this area. We have stacks of tiles everywhere and the smell of clay and machinery is just part of the air we breathe. We spend our mornings checking the production lines and making sure the boxes are stacked right so nothing breaks. It’s a lot of physical labor and keeping an eye on the kilns. Sometimes things don't go perfectly, maybe a batch doesn't come out the right shade or a machine acts up, but that’s just life in a tile plant. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We’re just local people working at the 8 A N H spot. Most of us have lived in Morbi our whole lives and we know the industry inside and out. It’s hard, hot work, especially in the summer months, but it keeps the town moving. We just try to keep our heads down and get the orders shipped out on time. The Kandla Road is always busy with trucks, and we’re just one more stop along the way for the drivers.
