Shree Laxmi Ceramic Industries

Shree Laxmi Ceramic Industries is located right on the 8-A National Highway Road, across from the Kuber Chamber in Trajpar. Being near the highway means there’s always a lot of noise from the trucks going by, but it’s a good spot for us. We’ve been here at Post Box No. 363 for quite a while now. Our main thing is ceramics, which is a lot of work with clay and high-heat ovens. The factory floor is usually pretty hot and crowded with pieces waiting to be fired in the kilns. We aren't a big, polished company. It’s more of a family-run feeling, where everyone knows what their job is without being told every five minutes by a manager. We spend our days checking the kilns and making sure the molds are clean and ready. It’s a messy process, and you’re never really clean when you work here. We don’t have a fancy showroom for people to walk through. Most of the time, we’re just out back in the heat doing the actual work. People find us because we’re right there on the National Highway and easy to spot. We don't do much in the way of selling ourselves; the work just piles up in the yard and people come by to see what we have. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when we have a big firing scheduled and have to watch the temperature. We just keep our heads down and handle the clay. It’s what we’ve always done here.
