Senofy Ceramic

Our shop, Senofy Ceramic, is at Number 3 in the Real Plaza complex. We are right out on the 8-A National Highway on the way to Ghuntu Road. If you’ve ever driven that way, you know how loud and dusty the highway can be with all those big trucks going by every minute. The plaza is usually full of people coming and going for different things. Our space is small but we cram a lot into it. We spend most of our time organizing the samples and talking to people who pull over from the road. The light in the morning is quite bright in the shop, which helps us see what we’re doing. It’s just a few of us here every day. We don’t have any fancy coffee machines, just a thermos we bring from home and maybe some snacks from the stall downstairs. The highway noise is just part of the background now, like a constant hum. Sometimes the traffic gets backed up right in front of the plaza and it gets really loud with all the honking. We just keep the door shut and carry on. It’s a practical location because everyone passes by eventually. We’ve been in this shop for a while and the walls are starting to need a bit of paint, but it works for what we need. It's a busy life but we like being where the action is.
