Down on Old Ghuntu Road, you will find our place, Color Tiles Pvt. Ltd. This part of town has a lot of history with making things out of clay. The road itself is a bit rough sometimes because of all the heavy traffic, but it is where we belong. We spend most of our time in the production area or the warehouse. It is not a quiet job. There is always the sound of machinery or someone moving pallets around. We don't bother with fancy offices or expensive furniture. Most of the time, our clothes have a bit of dust on them anyway. We focus on making tiles that people can actually use. We check the batches as they come out of the kiln to see how the colors turned out. Sometimes they aren't exactly what we expected, so we have to adjust things. That is just how it goes with this kind of work. We have a small group of people working here, and most of us have been around for years. We know each other's families and how we like to work. We don't put out big advertisements or try to act like a giant corporation. People know where we are on Old Ghuntu Road, and they come to us when they need tiles for a project. It is a simple, honest way to make a living, and we just keep at it every day.
