Kihut International

Kihut International is tucked away at Shop No H 12 in the Lalpar Area. We are right behind Royal Plaza, so it’s a bit hidden if you don’t know where to look. It’s a small shop, but we manage to fit a lot inside. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter or checking the boxes in the back. The area is usually busy with shoppers going to the plaza, but our little corner stays a bit quieter. We deal with various goods, mostly things that people need for their own businesses. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most days. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. The walls are lined with shelves that we built ourselves out of old wood. It might look a bit cluttered to an outsider, but I know exactly where everything is. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to share some news or have a coffee. We try to keep our prices where they should be without any complicated math. It’s not a big international corporation despite the name; it’s just us doing our bit. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much and I have to stay late to finish it all. We don’t have a big marketing plan, we just hope that if we do okay, people will come back. It’s a simple way to make a living and it works for us. We're just regular people trying to run a shop.
