If you head down Jetpar Road, you’ll find Sunbond Ceramic Pvt. Ltd. right across from Kajaria Sanitary Wares. It’s a busy spot with lots of ceramic businesses lined up one after another. We’ve been operating here for some time, focusing on getting our ceramics right. The daily routine is pretty much the same: we check the kilns, look over the finished pieces, and get everything ready for the trucks. It’s physical work and the heat from the ovens can be intense, especially in the middle of the day. We are a small crew, and we mostly just stick to our tasks without much fuss. There isn't a glossy brochure or a scripted greeting when you come by. We’re usually just busy in the back or helping someone load a pallet. The road outside is always full of dust from the passing traffic, but that’s the reality of working in this industrial belt. We try to keep our head down and just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes things don't go perfectly, like a batch coming out the wrong shade, and we have to start over. That is just how it goes with ceramics. We’ve lived and worked in this area long enough to know the rhythms of the trade. It’s a basic, honest living based on making something useful out of local materials and getting it out the door on time for our neighbors.
