About Silverstone Ceramic – Building & Construction Material in Morbi
Silverstone Ceramic is out on Jetpar Rd in Rangpar. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s where all the space is for the kilns and the storage. The air around here always has that smell of fired clay. We spend our days watching the production lines and making sure the ceramics aren't coming out with too many flaws. It’s a hot job, especially when the ovens are running at full tilt. We have a lot of racks stacked with drying pieces. Rangpar is a quiet enough place, mostly just other factories and some fields. We don't see many strangers, usually just the regular transport guys. The road can get a bit rough after the monsoon, which makes moving the finished ceramics a bit of a gamble. We try to pack everything tight so nothing rattles too much in the back of the trucks. There isn't much to the office, just a place to keep the paperwork and a fan that barely works. We spend most of our time on the floor anyway. It’s a lot of walking back and forth. We've got a small crew and we all know our jobs. It’s not fancy, but it gets the work done. Sometimes we sit outside during the break just to catch a breeze. The work is repetitive, but there is a certain rhythm to it that we've all grown used to over the many years.
