Our company, Enzo Ceramic Pvt. Ltd., is based out in Jambudiya, right on the National Highway near Morbi. This whole region is basically the center of the ceramic world in this country, so we are surrounded by other factories and tall smoke stacks for miles in every direction. We have a post code of 363 642, but most people just find us by looking for the signs along the main road. Working here means dealing with a lot of dust and the constant humming of heavy machinery, but we have gotten used to that over the years. We are not a huge corporate office with people wearing suits and ties. Most of us wear regular work clothes and spend our time out in the warehouse or standing near the production lines. It is a lot of manual labor and keeping track of crates that are being sent all over the place. The weather in Morbi can be pretty harsh and dry, so we just try to keep our heads down and get the tiles packed up the right way. We do not have any mission statements or slogans on our walls. We just show up in the morning, check the daily schedule, and start moving the inventory. Sometimes the highway gets blocked up with traffic or construction, which makes for a very long day, but that is just life on the A National Highway.
