At Jagadish Tiles Co., we are located at number 16 in Mahavir Society. If you know where the new bus stand is, you can’t miss us because we’re right across from it. Being so close to the bus stand means we get to see people coming and going from all over the place. It’s a convenient spot for customers, too, since they can just hop off the bus and walk right over. We have been here for a good while, and the shop has seen a lot of changes in the styles of tiles people want. It’s funny how trends go in circles. One year everyone wants one thing, and the next year it’s something else entirely. We spend a lot of our time moving boxes of tiles around. They are heavy and you have to be careful not to chip the edges, so we’ve all developed pretty strong arms over the years. The shop isn’t huge, but we make the most of the space we have in Mahavir Society. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in, and we have to stack things right up to the ceiling. We mostly deal with local builders and people fixing up their own bathrooms or kitchens. It’s nice to see the finished photos they sometimes bring back to show us. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here, just selling tiles and making sure people get what they need for their floors and walls.
