Our office is over on Kenal Road, specifically at Ram Palace in the Ravapar area. It’s a bit different than being right in the middle of the factory zones. We are in room 501, and it’s tucked into the Om Park Society. It’s a bit quieter than the main industrial roads, which is nice for when we have to focus on the books. We have tile samples lined up against the walls, and the sunlight comes through the windows in the morning. It’s a typical office setup with some old computers and plenty of pens that never seem to work when you need them. We handle the administrative side of the ceramic business from here. A lot of our day is spent sending emails and talking to the distributors across India. Sometimes we go downstairs to the society area just to get a bit of fresh air and a break from the screen. The neighbors are mostly families, so it feels a bit more like a community than a cold business park. We aren't trying to be something we aren't; we just run the company from these rooms and try to keep things organized. It’s a lot of lists and checking boxes. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we end up waiting around, but that gives us time to talk about what we’re having for lunch. It’s a simple operation, really. It just works for us and keeps us out of the heat.
