Oracle Granito Ltd. is located right in Himatnagar. If you walk into our yard, you’ll see stacks of stone and tiles everywhere. It’s a dusty place because that’s just the nature of dealing with granite all day long. We spend a lot of time moving heavy slabs around and making sure they don’t crack. The sun gets pretty hot here and the stone stays warm even after the sun goes down. Most of us have been working with these materials for years. We know the weight and the feel of the different finishes. It isn’t a quiet job. There is always the sound of a forklift or someone shouting instructions over the noise of a truck being loaded. We get orders from all over the area and we try to get them sorted out as fast as the machines allow. Sometimes the power goes out and everything just stops for a bit, so we sit and have tea until it comes back on. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don’t go for anything too flash. The yard is big enough for the trucks to turn around and that is what matters most for us. People come by to see the colors in person because pictures don’t really show how the light hits the surface. We just show them what we have in stock and tell them how much it weighs.
