We are located right on S.H. No. 7, along the Ahmedabad Maliya Highway. You can find us at the Aniyari Chowkadi in Khakhrechi. Being on the highway means we see a lot of people passing through all day long. It’s a dusty spot because of the wind blowing across the open road and the dirt from the surrounding fields. We deal with tiles, so we have stacks of them around in the storage area and outside. The building is more of a warehouse and a basic office than anything else. You can hear the big trucks roaring past at all hours of the night if you have to stay late to finish up an order. It’s an important crossroads for us and our clients. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading the heavy crates by hand or with the small lift. The sun can be quite brutal out here in the open country, so we try to do the heavy work early in the morning before it gets too bad. We have a small group of workers who are used to the heat and the hard work of moving ceramic tiles every day. There’s not much else around us besides the long stretch of road and a few other industrial spots. We’ve become used to the pace of the highway life. The office is mostly just for keeping the invoices and taking a short tea break. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but it works for what we do.
