Lotus Ceramic

We set up Lotus Ceramic right across from the Mama CNG Pump on the Morbi-Jetpar Road. It’s a convenient spot because almost everyone knows where that pump is. If you're coming from the city, we are on the left side. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, just a standard industrial setup. We spend our days mostly checking the quality of the ceramics coming off the line. There is always a layer of fine dust on everything, no matter how much we sweep. That’s just part of the tile business. We don’t have a big sales pitch. Usually, people show up with a piece of paper that has their floor measurements written on it. We do the math, show them what’s in the warehouse, and tell them the price. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know most of the guys driving the delivery trucks by name. Sometimes we stand out by the road and watch the traffic when things are slow. We don't have a website with a lot of photos or anything like that. If you want to see what we have, you just have to come by and look at the physical tiles yourself. The sunlight shows the colors better than any screen anyway. We stay open until the sun goes down, or until the last truck is loaded up. It’s a steady rhythm that suits us just fine. You just have to watch out for the potholes near the entrance.
