Amrut Tiles

Amrut Tiles is located on the first floor, Shop No-3, right on Alwar Road in Mahendra Nagar. We are quite close to the CNG pump, which is a good landmark if you’re driving over. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up, but we’ve got some good displays up there once you make it. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. We deal with all sorts of ceramic and vitrified tiles. Some days are slow, and we just sit and drink tea while waiting for customers, and other days three families walk in at once. It gets a bit cramped then, with everyone looking at different samples. We’ve been in Mahendra Nagar for a while now. The area is growing, lots of new houses going up, so we stay fairly busy most of the time. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything. It’s just us. We know our stock pretty well. If someone wants a specific shade of grey or a wood finish, we usually know exactly which stack it’s in. The Alwar Road traffic can be loud, but we’re used to it. We just show people what we have and let them decide. There is no pressure from us. Buying tiles is a big decision because you have to live with them for years, so we get that. We just provide the options and help load the truck when they finally pick something. It is just basic business for us.
