If you know where Kamal Talkies is in the Baradari area, then you basically know where we are. We are based out of Kanth House, which is right in that same neighborhood. It’s an old part of town with a lot of history and narrow streets that can get pretty crowded during the day. We handle a lot of export work from this small office. Most of the day is spent talking to suppliers and making sure the quality of the items we are sending out is actually what it's supposed to be. We get all sorts of things coming through here before they get packed into crates for the trip overseas. The building we are in has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it serves our purpose well enough. You can usually hear the noise from the street coming through the windows, which keeps things from being too quiet. We don't do much advertising because most of our business comes through people we’ve known for years. It’s a lot of checking lists and double-checking addresses on labels. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back to the computers, but we usually just use that time to organize the warehouse space. It’s just us here, trying to keep the orders moving without too much fuss. It is a simple life and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
