H M Three Star Restaurant

Our place, H M Three Star Restaurant, is down on Lisari Road in Meerut, right in the middle of Shaukat Colony. We are basically opposite the Bans Wali Gali, and if you know Tarapuri Bhatta, we aren't far from there at all. It is a very crowded part of town, so there is always something going on outside our front door. We open up early to start getting the pots ready for the morning crowd. Most of the people who eat here are just locals or people working in the small shops nearby. We don't have a huge menu with fancy names, just the kind of food people in Meerut eat every day. The chairs are just simple plastic ones and the tables are close together because we don't have a ton of space. In the evenings, the road gets really packed with rickshaws and people buying vegetables, so it gets pretty loud inside. We’ve had the same few guys working in the kitchen for a long time now. They know how to handle the rush when everyone comes in at once after work. It’s a bit hot in the summer with the stoves going, but we keep the windows open. We just try to get the food out fast so people can get on with their day or head home to their families.
